BA – Behavioral Activation
Behavioral Activation (BA) is traditonally a form of short-term outpatient therapy that engages individuals in rewarding activities of their own choosing as a way to counter the negative feelings and withdrawal that are typical of depression and has been proven effective in being delivered by a Peer Recovery Support Specialist while supporting those with substance use disorder.
